I have also been thinking of making a self propelled snowmobile, If I can figure out how to rig up a big fat rear drive tire for flotation and grip and make a tadpole style trike frame with skis I bet it would be a blast to ride. Next Project? Here is a pic of a similar design for ice, so remember big rear tire with studs and skies to the front.
